Cosmic jets

► We propose a new theory for the origin of cosmic jets. ► We study geodesic motion in gravitational fields involving asymmetric collapse. ► We find peculiar acceleration of free test particles to the speed of light. ► Under favorable conditions, free particles form a cosmic double-jet configuration.
