In vitro myelotoxicity assessment of the emerging mycotoxins Beauvericin, Enniatin b and Moniliformin on human hematopoietic progenitors

► We assessed in vitro myelotoxicity of Beauvericin, Enniatin b and Moniliformin. ► Inhibitory effects on proliferation of CFU-GM, CFU-MK, BFU-E were detected. ► Inhibition of BFU-E differentiation was observed with Enniatin b or Moniliformin. ► These in vitro effects may be responsible for in vivo hematological troubles.
