Impact of DAG stimulation on mineral synthesis, mineral structure and osteogenic differentiation of human cord blood stem cells

► DAG influenced differentiation of USSCs, structure and composition of the mineral. ► DAG stimulated spheres exhibited morphological signs of osteoblast-like cells. ► A Ca-P mineral was formed in the stimulated and unstimulated group. ► Formed mineral showed structural similarities to the mineral of bony material.
