Effects of acepromazine on the cardiovascular actions of dopamine in anesthetized dogs

Previous acepromazine administration reduces the efficacy of dopamine as a vasopressor agent in isoflurane anesthetized dogs. Other beneficial effects of dopamine such as increased CO are not modified by acepromazine.
