Судьба патриархального мифа в изображении Бориса Екимова (‘Холюшино подворье’, ‘Пиночет’)

The article is devoted to the problem of the formation and development of a patriarchal myth in recent “traditional” prose. On the basis of the creative work of Boris Ekimov, who has been denoted as “the last village prose writer”, it is shown how the image of a Father, the Master of the house and family, which is itself perceived as a small church, is transformed into the image of an authoritative leader (‘Kholiushaʼs yard’, ‘Pinochet’).
