Пролетариат врасплох: Симфония Донбасса Дзиги Вертова

In this article the author provides an analysis of Dziga Vertov's propaganda film Donbass Symphony, with special attention to the specifics of the new sound film and the use of metacinematic devices such as the “camera eye” and the “radio ear”.
