Абсурдизм Даниила Хармса в политико-судебном контексте

The author analyses the 1937 story ‘Griaznaia lichnost" (‘A dirty character’) in the context of press reports on Stalin's trials. Kharms's story (among other texts) may be considered as a reaction to newspaper reports, in this case to the defamatory campaign against the doctor D. Pletnev who was falsely accused of sexual assault. Kharms, almost literally reproducing Soviet newspaper cliches, creates an image of absurd hyperreality.
