چکیده انگلیسی

This is the third year of a gradual implementation of an educational reform in Israel with regard to children with special needs (SEN) and their rights to integrate into the regular education system. The reform proposes changes to assessment processes, and budgets for as well as placement of children with SEN and seeks to give parents a significant role in this process. This reform is based, inter alia, on parental involvement and inclusion theories and models. The article will review these theories and the development of the reform over its three years and will present possible future research venues.
