Opinions of the University Students Studying in Kazakhstan about National Identity

National identity and nation are complicated structures consisting of interrelated ethnical, cultural, territorial, economical and official-political. Throughout the history, all nations have plenty of features which distinguish them from other nations. All the features peculiar to nations form the concept “national identity”. National identity is the expression of belonging to a national culture. This study aims to determine the ideas of the university students studying at Kazakhstan about national identity. This study aiming to determine the ideas of the university students at Kazakhstan about national identity is a descriptive study in the model of survey. The data of the study are collected via the scale of National identity perception. It can be deduced from the results of the study that the students adopt the opinions in the first factor which are national identity and values and the second factor which are national identity and religion relation as parts of national identity.
