Learning Activities Suitable for an ICT-oriented Children's Summer Camp

Leisure is the right time for voluntary educational activities. Our aim is to show how leisure activities can be implemented in an informatics education. The main purpose of this study is to describe a set of learning activities that were found suitable for non- formal learning environments, children's summer camps. We designed five different activities: Educational robotics, Mobile technology, 3D Photos, Information encoding and encryption and Multimedia presentations. All used learning activities could be implemented also within the environment of formal institutions such as secondary schools. The quality of suggested learning activities from the methodical point of view is discussed.
