Approximation to the Study of Scientific Production of AEIPRO's International Congresses in Engineering and Project Management

The paper shows the results from the analysis of scientific activity developed at Engineering International Congresses and Project Management organized by the Asociación Española de Dirección e Ingeniería de Proyectos (AEIPRO) (Spanish Association of Engineering and Management Project). Through the visualization of the scientific domain and by network analysis, we intend to provide a different perspective to the study of convergent relationships of literature developed at these international events.The results allow to approximate the scientific knowledge foundation in Project Engineering developed at AEIPRO International congresses between 1998 and 2012, providing descriptive results of the degree of research integration, the distribution of international contribution, the scientific collaboration between universities, professional and scientific institutions, and also identifying scientific research fronts in order to promote scientific research in this field of science, which is relevant due to its scope and implication in different environments.
