The need to adapt education to the requirements of knowledge-based society has increased the role of bidirectional communication in classroom in order to obtain educational performance.Many studies have shown the advantages of the communication within e- learning process. However there are few works that present the interdependencies among these features and learning efficiency from teachers’ perspective, who is the one who decides on the use of these technologies in class.After analyzing the results of a qualitative research conducted among high school teachers, we propose a conceptual model of an effective communication within e-learning communities. The relevance of the developed model in the process of increasing learning efficiency was tested by designing an experiment that highlights the influence of teachers’ perception concerning student – teacher communication on their perception regarding students’ learning efficiency and also on their attitude towards e-learning and their intention to use these technologies.
