The development of the physis, evolutionary, cognitive and social sciences, systemic thought and experimental epistemology during the 19th century have outlined an itinerary which, through the cracks in the alleged necessity of “Cartesian” borders of science, have defined the horizon of complexity producing a change in the statute of epistemological sciences and in the use of new paradigms for sociological analysis. This paper analyzes the methodological development of social sciences in relation to a changed epistemological frame. In particular, it indicates the methodological proposal of Edgar Morin (1977; 1991), that overcomes the traditional logic scheme of analysis-synthesis, the disjointedness between separate and closed entities, the reduction of a simple element, to recognize the dynamic interaction properties between the elements of a set. According to the complexity method the social organization- structure is analyzed as a complex dynamic system.
