Legal Problems of the Modern Agricultural Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan

This article considers features of the agrarian reform law of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of the globalization issues of food security. Legislation of Kazakhstan is developing steadily in the direction of market reform, which is clearly seen in the legislative consolidation of private ownership of agricultural land, the establishment and development of new organizational forms of agricultural business and the introduction of market-based economic instruments in the management of agricultural production. The more specific proposals to improve the existing legislation in the area of food safety refer in conclusion of the article.
