The Problems of Erasmus Students Studying at Akdeniz University

The aim of this study is to determine the problems faced by Erasmus students at Akdeniz University. To find out what were their problems, 50 Erasmus students were asked by means of a questionnaire. 14 of the questions concerned the university and the services they received, 18 questions concerned the educational environment, and 4 questions were about the guidance and counseling services. The students’ responses were evaluated with the help of a statistical program. The results show that Erasmus students were generally satisfied with the services they receive on campus. However, they do have some problems with the educational environment, with the guidance, counseling and orientation services. Taking these views into consideration, this study offers some solutions to their problems.
