Amar Makruf Nahi Mungkar Approach to Handle Sexual Misbehavior and Awareness for Pregnancy Female Inmates in Taman Seri Puteri Cheras, Selangor

This study aimed to examine the effects of Amar Makruf Nahi Mungkar approach towards inmates to overcome sexual practices misbehaviour and raise awareness of sexual behavior in rehabilitation center, Taman Seri Puteri, Cheras, Selangor. There were two variables, one is aspect of practices sexual misbehaviour and another aspect of awareness sexual behavior based on Islamic perspective. This study used an experimental design. This study used purposive sampling which took subject that shows the level of high sexual practices and have the low level of sexual awareness. A total of 28 sampel female teen in a range age of 14 to 18 and awaiting the birth of baby has followed the group guidance counselling session for eight-time continuously. Data collected using Questionnaires of Practices Sexual Misbehaviour and Awareness of Sexual Behaviour Based on Islamic Perspective for pre-test and post-test. The changes of sexual misbehaviour and awareness sexual behaviour were analysed using descriptive statistics. The results showed experimental group were found to be significant on effective changes in reducing sexual practices misbehavior and raise awareness of sexual misbehavior among inmates. Overall, after following Amar Makruf Nahi Mungkar approach they do not want to repeat sexual behavior, transforming themselves after birth, conscious getting closer to Allah swt and doing better worthwhile after leaving rehab center.
