Learning about the Importance of Water for Life through Informatics Products

This paper presents the projection and realization of an educational material about the importance of water for life. The educational web site contains original photos of water pollution and animations about water cycle and eutrophication, drawings realized by pupils and a test for evaluation of the pupil's acquired knowledge.As a didactic material, the site “Water, Circle of Life” emphasizes active learning. The pupils become fully aware of the danger of pollution, identify the causes of water pollution and propose measures to water saving and reducing pollution.
