چکیده انگلیسی
The aim of the present study is to investigate the opinions of academicians and preservice teachers about summer schools. The academicians (n=13) and preservice teachers (n=18) formed the study group. The data were collected by means of interviews in the summer semester of 2010 – 2011 academic year. To analyze the data, content analysis technique was used. Some of the findings revealed that summer school was not an advantage for students who had lower incomes; it could be considered as an opportunity for university students; the preservice teachers have positive opinions about making new friends; there was no difference between the summer semester and fall and spring semesters.
