Climatic characteristics of the Pollog Hollow

Macedonia belongs to the Mediterranean climate zone according to the geographical latitude and proximity to the Aegean and Adriatic Sea, but because of the stress relief the climate is variable. The character of the climate over certain areas is influenced by many factors, in this paper particular attention is given to the changes in temperature, winds, air, humidity and rainfalls.
