MORENA en la reconfiguración del sistema de partidos en México

ResumenEn el presente texto se observa que el sistema de partidos en México se ha caracterizado por el establecimiento de tres ofertas políticas predominantes: PRI, PAN y PRD, correspondiente al pluralismo moderado. Sin embargo, este predominio tripartidista ha limitado el crecimiento de los partidos pequeños y la emergencia de una cuarta fuerza política competitiva. El pluralismo moderado no ha alentado el desarrollo electoral de los nuevos partidos, algo que también se refleja en la integración del Congreso. La emergencia de MORENA, partido político, vino a modificar esa lógica, por su capacidad de convertirse en un partido competitivo, a la altura de los otros tres, bajo el liderazgo de Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

In the present article we observe that the system of parties in Mexico has meant the establishment of three predominant political offerings: PRI, PAN and PRD, characteristic of moderate pluralism. However, this three-party dominance has limited the growth of small parties and the emergence of a fourth competitive political force. Moderate pluralism has not encouraged the electoral development of new parties, something which is also reflected in the integration of the Congress. The emergence of MORENA, political party, came to change this logic, for their ability to become a competitive match, at the height of the other three, taking advantage of the leadership of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
