Coaliciones preelectorales, gobierno dividido y unificado a nivel estatal: 1998-2014

ResumenEn el presente trabajo se parte de la premisa de que los estudios del poder Legislativo en México han venido en aumento, pero a nivel subnacional son aún limitados. También se considera que el aumento del número de coaliciones en las gubernaturas tiene repercusiones para su estudio. En este sentido, los objetivos del trabajo son: describir el desarrollo de los tipos de gobierno a nivel estatal en el periodo de 1998-2014; y mostrar los retos empíricos que tienen los conceptos de gobierno dividido y gobierno unificado.

This paper starts from the premise that studies of the legislative branch in Mexico have been increasing, but at the subnational level is still limited. It is also considered that the increase in number of coalitions in governorships has implications for study. In this regard, the objectives of the work are: describe the development of the different types of government at the state level in the period 1998-2014 and show the empirical challenges that have the concepts of divided government and unified government.
