Un debate sobre el concepto “intelectual” en Francia y México

ResumenEn palabras del autor, el presente texto expone algunas categorías usadas por varios autores europeos para pensar el papel de los intelectuales en la vida cultural en Francia, que podrían extenderse a la circunstancia intelectual mexicana; sin embargo, en ésta las explicaciones son otras, pese a la enorme influencia del país galo en nuestra realidad y a las semejanzas que, con el correr del tiempo, sobre todo después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, parecieron haber determinado las posiciones de los intelectuales tanto franceses como mexicanos.

According to the author, this paper discusses some categories used by several European authors to think the role of intellectuals in the cultural life in France, which could be extended to the mexican intellectual circumstances, but the explanations in this are diferent, despite to the enormous influence of the French country in our reality and the similarities with the passage of time, especially after World War II, appeared to have determined the positions on both French and Mexicans intellectuals.
