Environmental applications of electron-molecule interactions

The significance of basic knowledge on low-energy electron-molecule interactions to environmental and energy issues is illustrated by three examples: electric power transmission and distribution, destruction of toxic chemicals in the environment, and new materials for renewable energy sources.
