Study on sonodynamic activity of metallophthalocyanine sonosensitizers based on the sonochemiluminescence of MCLA

► MCLA were used to detect free radical formation during sonodynamic process. ► The Nickel(II) phthalocyanine was able to enhance the sonochemiluminescence intensity of MCLA. ► The results provide some useful data for the investigation and development of phthalocyanine sonosenziters.
