Synthesis, crystal structures, and luminescent properties of tin(II) and lead(II) carboxyphosphonates with 3D framework structures

Two new metal carboxyphosphonates with 3D framework structures, [Sn2(HL)·2H2O] (1) and [Pb2Cl(H2L)] (2) (H5L = 4-HOOCC6H4CH2N(CH2PO3H2)2), have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. The luminescent properties of compounds 1 and 2 have also been studied.
