Synthesis and thermotropic behavior of cholesteric mixtures containing metallomesogen Cu(II), Ni(II), Pd(II) and vanadyl complexes

The LC behavior of cholesteric mixtures of Cu(II), Ni(II), VO(II), Pd(II) chiral and achiral complexes was studied. A strong dependence of the cholesteric pitch on the temperature for Ni based mixtures was revealed.
