Dinuclear copper(II) complex with tetrathiafulvalene-based bis-acetylacetonate ligands

A dinuclear copper(II) complex with cis-bis(acetylacetonate)tetrathiafulvalene ligand, [Cu2(cis-acac2)2 ⋅ 2DMF ⋅ 2H2O] (1), was prepared and structurally characterized. The redox properties of both the interesting ligand and the metal complex were investigated by cyclic voltammetry.
