Reactions of (E)-N-[2-(benzyliminomethyl)phenyl]-2,6-diisopropylaniline with diethylzinc: Synthesis, characterization and catalytic studies for ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone

► Zinc complexes incorporating the AABn− ligand are synthesized and fully characterized. ► Complex 1 catalyzes the polymerization of ε-caprolactone with the highest activity among these Zn complexes. ► Complex 1 catalyzes the polymerization of ε-caprolactone in a “controlled” manner.
