New tetranuclear macrocyclic complex: Crystal structure, magnetic property and DNA cleavage activity

► Synthesize a new coordination dimer of Robson-type complex bridged by 4, 4′-bipy. ► Study the magnetic property, DNA binding and cleavage activity of the dimer. ► This is the the first example of dimer used as DNA cleavage agents.
