Synthesis, molecular structure and magnetic behaviour of Dy8(μ3,η2-OR)6(μ,η2-OR)4(η1-OR)8(μ,η1-OR)6 R = C2H4OPri

The reaction between dysprosium chips or Dy5O(OPri)13 and 2-isopropoxyethanol afforded the title compound which was characterized in the solid state by X-ray diffraction and magnetic susceptibility measurements.
