Synthesis and properties of a Cu4(SCN)4 cubane cluster-based coordination polymer with a diamond net

► The first structurally characterized compound with a pseudohalide cluster Cu4(SCN)4. ► A coordination polymer with a three-fold interpenetrated diamond net. ► A rigid open framework that just allows H2 to pass through. ► Its temperature-dependent photoluminescence resembles those of Cu4Cl4 complexes.
