Synthesis, structure and photoluminescence properties of silver(I) coordination polymers with bis(4-pyridyl)benzylamine

► Novel functional ligand, bis(4-pyridyl)benzylamine, is prepared and characterized. ► Multidimensional silver(I) coordination polymers (1 and 2) have been prepared and characterized. ► The X-ray single-crystal structures of 1 and 2 are obtained and analyzed in detail. ► The photoluminescent properties of 1 and 2 are measured and analyzed in detail.
