A flexible hydroxy-bridged dicopper complex as catechol oxidase mimic

A flexible hydroxy-bridged dicopper complex with isoindoline ligand has prepared and characterized and shown that it does not maintain its dimeric nature when catalyzing catechol oxidase-like reaction.

The molecular structure of [Cu2(4′MeInd)2(MeOH)(μ-OH)]ClO4·MeOH [4′MeIndH = 1,3-bis(4′-methyl-2-pyridylimino)isoindoline] was fully determined by IR, UV–Vis, and X-ray crystal analysis. With the flexible hydroxy-bridged isoindoline-containing dicopper complex has been shown that it does not maintain its dimeric nature when catalyzing catechol oxidase-like reaction.Figure optionsDownload as PowerPoint slide
