A novel 3D supramolecular inorganic-metal-organic architecture with honeycomb-like motifs directed by the water tetramer and sulfate anion

An interesting 3D supramolecular inorganic-metal-organic architecture was obtained from the 2D inorganic water-sulfate cluster and 1D metal-organic chain. The structure reported herein demonstrates that water-sulfate clusters play the central role of a structure-directing unit.
