Two new configurations of 1-D heterothiometallic clusters: Isomerism of polymeric anions induced by both complementary cations and anions

Two new configurational isomers of 1-D anionic Mo(W)/S/Ag clusters with strong third-order nonlinear optical properties were synthesized. For the first time, the coexisting anions and cations were found to be responsible for the isomerism in this system.
