Construction of a cadmium supermolecular compound from 2-(pyridine-3-yl)-1H-4,5-imidazoledicarboxylic acid

A supermolecular structure based on 2-(pyridine-3-yl)-4,5-imidazoledicarboxylic acid, with high hydrothermal stability and strong florescent emissions for its strong π-π and hydrogen-bondings interactions, has been synthesized and characterized.
