• Interaction between Zr(IV) and 3,5,7,2′,4′ pentahydroxyflavone in the presence of fluoride has been investigated.
• The formation of mixed-ligand complex Zr(OH)3(H4R)(F)− has been found.
• The affinity constant of the mixed-ligand complex has been calculated.
The interaction between Zr(IV) and morin in the presence of fluoride has been found to be accompanied by the formation of the mixed-ligand complex Zr(OH)3(H4R)(F)−. The stability of the complex can be characterized by the concentration affinity constant lg Кα = 20.67 ± 0.04.
The novel intensively fluorescent mixed-ligand complex of Zr(IV) with 3,5,7,2′,4′-pentahydroxyflavone and fluoride has been obtained and characterized.Figure optionsDownload as PowerPoint slide
