1,3-Dipolar cycloadditions of fluorinated nitrones with thioketones

- N-Benzyl nitrones derived from fluoral and difluoroacetaldehyde were prepared.
- 1,3-Dipolar cycloadditions of fluorinated nitrones with thioketones were studied.
- 1,4,2-Oxathiazolidines were obtained regioselectively.
- Aliphatic thioketones displayed higher reactivity than their aromatic analogs.
