Synthesis, structure and photoluminescent properties of BF2 and BPh2 complexes with N,O-benzazine ligands

- BF2 and BPh2 complexes of 8-OH-2-Me-quinolines and 2-(2-HOC6H4)-quinazolinones were prepared.
- Structure of complexes was confirmed by MS, 1H, 19F, 11B NMR and X-ray.
- 2-Methyl-8-hydroxyquinolines BPh2 complexes surpass their BF2 analogs in quantum yield.
- BF2 complex of 2-(2-OH-3,5-di(t-Bu)phenyl)-3Н-quinazolin-4-one exhibits the best fluorescence.
