‘Calixarene-like’ chiral amine macrocycles as novel chiral shift reagents for carboxylic acids

Chiral macrocyclic amine 2 was found to be useful as an NMR chiral shift reagent for the determination of the enantiomeric purity and absolute configurations of several kinds of carboxylic acid and amino acid derivatives.
