Five new phenethyl cinnamides from the mangrove associates Micromelum falcatum

• Five new amides (micrometams A–E) were isolated from the Micromelum falcatum (Lour.) Tanaka (family Rutaceae).
• These amides were found first from the genus micromelum belonging to the tribe Clauseneae.
• These amides as phytochemical evidence, indicated that Micromelum was more similar to Glycosmis and Clausena than to Bergera.
