In vitro mutagenicity of anti-inflammatory parsalmide analogues PA7, PA10, and PA31 triggered by biotransformation into hydroxy derivatives

Metabolite of each compound showed mutagenic activity for at least two strains in the Ames test. The in vitro metabolism showed that all compounds suffered hydroxylation.
