Research on Controlling Strategy of Dual Bridge Matrix Converter-Direct Torque Control of Induction Motor

This paper presents a new control strategy combining the direct torque control of induction motors with the dual bridge matrix converter, and gives the modulation algorithms of dual bridge matrix converter rectifier and the method of inverter direct torque control. This control method can realize the direct torque control of induction motors with a good dynamic performance, but also get good input current waveforms and adjustable power factor. The simulation results show the validity and feasibility of the proposed control strategy.
