Profile of oil spill confined with floating boom

The dynamics of contained oil spills is investigated using both boundary layer and constant drag coefficient models. Oil circulation is included in both models. Results providing oil velocity profile and oil thickness distribution can be used to estimate the minimum draft required to prevent boom drainage failure.
