Hyers–Ulam stability of Euler’s equation

We prove that Euler’s equation x1∂u∂x1+x2∂u∂x2+⋯+xn∂u∂xn=αu, characterising homogeneous functions, is stable in Hyers–Ulam sense if and only if α∈R∖{0}α∈R∖{0}.
