Reactivity cost for different top reflector materials in miniature neutron source reactors

► A comparison between different reflectors for Miniature neutron source Reactors is made. ► The comparison is limited to and concentrates only on both the economical and safety points of view. ► From the only safety point of view beryllium results the best reflector for MNSRs compared to water and graphite. ► From both the economical and safety points of view graphite results the best reflector.
