Small wind power

The UK has set a target to source 10% of its electricity from renewables by 2010 and 15% by 2015 with an aspiration to reach 20% by 2020. The Government believes that micro-generation (i.e. under 50kW for electricity), which includes small-scale wind, can make an important contribution to this target1.
