Generation of uniform lesions in high intensity focused ultrasound ablation

► An algorithm of generate uniform lesions in size is developed for HIFU tumor ablation. ► The effect of scanning pathway protocol and thermal properties of target on treatment planning is investigated. ► This method is effective in both gel phantom and ex vivo studies.
