Analysis of 2-D motion tracking in ultrasound with dual transducers

► Two linear arrays (dual transducers), separated by 40-90°, track 2D motion. ► Compression tracking errors are smaller compared to single array techniques. ► Errors caused by small misalignments remain lower up to 1 mm/2°. ► Refraction and speed of sound changes cause similar misplacement error. ► The technique may be applied to breast elastography.
