Thermal behavior of acousto-optic devices: Effects of ultrasound absorption and transducer losses

► We completed the electric equivalent model of acoustic transducers in acousto-optics. ► We included electric and acoustic losses into the model. ► The model was validated with electric and thermal measurements. ► The results were used to improve the construction of our acousto-optic devices. ► Active and passive thermal stabilization methods were analyzed and discussed.
